DBS have commenced planning for the next academic year, 2022/23. The way we deliver our programmes will change slightly, taking faculty and student feedback into account. We aim to maintain flexibility, while increasing student engagement and success in their programmes.
(Effective from September 2022)
Part Time
Part-time programmes may be a mix of timetabled in-class and timetabled online delivery. Learners will be informed that they will be expected in class on certain nights in certain weeks. In-class delivery WILL be streamed online¹. Online and in-class delivery will be recorded², and the recording made available to learners automatically.
Timetables will be published online from the 15th August 2022, and the nights where on campus delivery is required will be made available then.
¹ Except for modules that require on site attendance only, e.g. some modules from Counselling and Psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Applied Social Care or Film/Creative Media programmes. If you have any doubt, please contact your programme coordinator.
²Except for modules that have any sensitive topics under discussion where recording would inhibit the learning, e.g. some modules from Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Applied Social Care or Social Science programmes or situations where the class is a fully practical application. If you have any doubt, please contact your programme coordinator.
