Digital Marketing Jobs Recently Created in Irish Firms
Google help educate CEOs of Irish companies about digital marketing.

Up to 19 jobs have recently been created in Irish companies as a direct result of the work of Google’s Large Customer Sales (LCS) division.*
The division, which is headed by Shane Nolan, works with Irish businesses to help them understand the drivers of successful business online.

A number of businesses have subsequently either created new digital departments where none existed before, or have added capacity to existing digital departments.

“We’ve always said that there is a huge opportunity for Irish businesses if they learned to exploit the online opportunity and our work in the past year proves that,” Nolan said.“A significant number of companies have seen exponential growth and created additional jobs in digital marketing. Our work is having a very positive impact, both in terms of protecting existing jobs and creating new ones. If we could get more Irish businesses online and each hiring just one or two additional people to focus on digital marketing, it would make a real difference,” Nolan added.

Studying for an Evening Degree at DBS
What to Expect

Our students value the student focus that our lecturers and support staff offer. At DBS, this is the key factor in our service delivery. We recognise that you may need different types of support as you progress through your studies; academic direction, career advice, mentoring or personal attention. We offer a comprehensive service in these areas to all our students both full and part-time.

Along with our student centred approach to learning, we understand that before returning to education there will be many key considerations that you will have to make, whether it be organising childcare, combining study with full-time employment or other personal commitments. For that reason we at DBS take a holistic view to college life.

The work/life/study balance is something we regard at DBS as being vitally important to student success. Accordingly we organise, through our dedicated support staff; flexible timetables, shared group work and dedicated programme leaders to ensure that all our students are fully equipped to successfully complete their chosen programme.
