New Year, New Career: The benefits of an Evening Degree

Returning to education after several years away from a classroom environment can be daunting. If you have settled into a structured routine of work/life/family balance, an Evening Degree will alter weekly plans and require time commitment. And for those who've vested their efforts in their careers and families, returning to education can be a challenging undertaking.

However there are significant benefits to be gained from returning to study, and Dublin Business School has support structures in place to assist its part-time students to learn, work and live successfully throughout their time with us.

Specialist Knowledge and Academic Excellence

Courses are designed and taught by leaders in their specialist fields. DBS delivers a diverse range of courses and provides a variety of approaches to study and learning to suit our students.

Many of our staff are educated to doctorate level and as an institution we focus our main research activity on the constant improvement of the learning experience of our students. Your lecturers will play a vital role in ensuring that you graduate with a knowledge that will contribute to your future professional development.

Personal Development

An Evening Degree at DBS provides an opportunity to learn with and from your peers in a supportive and flexible environment over two evenings a week.

The lessons learned will extend beyond the classroom and we ensure we have the facilities to support all aspects of your needs during your time with us.

Feedback from students indicates that they value the student focus that our lecturers and support staff offer. At DBS, this is the key factor in our service delivery. We recognise that you may need different types of support as you progress through your studies, be it academic direction, career advice, mentoring or personal attention. We offer comprehensive Student Services in these areas to all our students.

We offer courses in areas such as:

-Counselling
-Psychology
-Accounting & Finance
-Business Management
