Dublin Business School (DBS), in conjunction with the Higher Education Authority (HEA) under the Government Springboard+ initiative, is providing the unemployed and employed, the opportunity to re-skill or up-skill for free under a range of approved and accredited courses.
DBS is delighted to announce that we are offering a range of free Level 8 Higher Diploma ICT Skills Conversion programmes for both the unemployed and employed that are available both part-time & full-time. These programmes are all accredited on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) by Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI).
These courses will provide training that will improve the future skills of the labour force, in a range of sectors where sustainable employment is predicted to rise as the economy recovers.

What free ICT Skills Conversion courses are running?

We are open to applications for the following free programmes, so get your application in fast!
The following free courses are available both full-time and part-time to people currently in emploment: - Higher Diploma in Science in Data Analytics
- Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Software Development Stream)
- Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Web & Cloud Technologies Stream)
- Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (IT Infrastructure & Networking Stream)
Classes will begin the week of the 10th April.
As places are limited, please be aware that applications are accepted on a first-come first-served basis and your place is not secure until you complete the Springboard+ application process in full and accept your place after you receive your offer. Entry requirements apply on all programmes.

DBS Open Evenings Spring 2017

Whether you have applied, or you are thinking of applying, for your free Springboard+ course, make sure you don't miss out on our scheduled Open Events for Spring 2017;
- Springboard+ Open Evening - Feb 23rd - 5pm, Aungier Street
- DBS Open Evening - Mar 7th, 5-7pm, Aungier Street
The above events are drop in events so you can drop in at any time during the hours listed.

1. Meet our lecturers - Speak to lecturers from all faculties and get a real insight into what each course offers, how the course is structured and how you will be assessed.
2. See our facilities - Take the chance to get a feel for the college and see our lecture theatres, along with our other facilities such as the library, common room and canteen.
3. Advice - If you're not sure what course to apply for or which career path you would like to take, don't worry; our admissions and academic staff can help advise you of your options and help pick the right course for you.
4. Student Experience - Get an insight into the many different sports and societies on offer at DBS. These include sports such as football and swimming through to film and dance.
