DBS student brings Indian culture to Ireland

BA (Hons) Journalism student Priya Rajput was recently featured in the Times of India newspaper, discussing a radio interview she gave on Dublin City FM. We caught up with her to find out how the interview came about, and how her course in DBS is going.

Why did you choose the course?

My interests are not limited to one or two things. I am interested in everything from sports to politics to entertainment. I am very curious about what's happening around me, I like being connected and being a part of change.

From Nigeria to Ireland: International Student Story

Adetunji Paul is an international student who travelled all the way from his home in Nigeria to study at DBS. He told us all about the experience of moving to a new country to live and study.

I hopped on a long 20-hour journey consisting of 2 flight legs from Nigeria to Ireland in January 2017. It wasn’t the first time I was leaving home to study in a different country only this time around I was more clear on what I wanted than ever before.

Tánaiste witnesses signing of MOU between DBS and Central University of Finance and Economics (China)

Dublin Business School is delighted to announce that we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Central University of Finance and Economics (Beijing). This will allow selected students of Central University of Finance and Economics (Beijing) to join Dublin Business School as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting and Fiance and BA (Hons) Financial Services student body.

The signing ceremony was held last week in Beijing during An Tánaiste (Deputy Head of Government of Ireland) Simon Coveney T.D's visit to China.

DBS Business Innovation Summit 2018

The DBS Business Society recently hosted DBS Business Innovation Summit 2018. The annual summit is a highlight in the student calendar, attracting speakers from top companies each year to share insights about their experiences of working in business. This year we welcomed speakers from Jobbio, TripAdvisor, Bank of Ireland, Microsoft, HubSpot and Leading Social.

DBS continues to shine in the Irish Education Awards

DBS has been shortlisted in five categories for the Irish Education Awards, which will take place in April 2018. Following success in the 2017 event, where DBS won awards for Best Student Experience and Best Library Team, the College will have the opportunity to defend its status in both of these categories, along with its recognition in the shortlist for the categories of Best College of Business, Best Student Campus and the Career Impact Strategy Award.
