DBS celebrate with our graduates at the 2012 Conferring Ceremony in the RDS

A happy day for the class of 2012
Students tell us why they love DBS!
On Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th November 2012 over 3500 graduates and their guests attended the DBS conferring ceremonies in the RDS. Over 1800 students graduated from the schools of Business, Law and Arts. 391 students achieved first class and distinction awards across undergraduate degree and postgraduate courses on a full-time and part-time basis.

Darragh Stapleton (pictured right) who graduated last week with an LL.B (Hons) in Irish Law shared his student experience.

The main thing I found about life as a student in DBS was the colleges complete dedication to their students education. I studied an LLB in Irish Law and I found this course to be a very enjoyable learning experience. Most of all I found the lecturers were very helpful. They were extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the course and were always very approachable on an issue that I or my classmates had. They also encouraged question-asking to ensure that no student was being left behind at any stage. There are also many clubs and societies in the college to suit everyones interests. This degree is a fully recognised and repescted degree so I now have a wide range of opportunities on where I would like to take my career.
