Course Focus: Certificate in Digital Marketing
Level 7 Certificate

Digital marketing is an exciting and rapidly developing field that offers excellent employment prospects and exciting careers.  The Certificate in Digital Marketing aims to provide students with knowledge of the fundamental theories, concepts and methods of digital marketing and in doing so enable the student to appreciate how digital marketing is part of modern day business strategy.   This programme will equip students with the skills to use digital media tools to plan and manage a digital marketing campaign.   Graduates of the programme will have a well-grounded knowledge of digital marketing that can be demonstrated and put into action in the workplace.

The Certificate in Digital Marketing is a one year programme and covers areas such as digital marketing concepts, digital planning and management,
implementing digital media and ebusiness.

Wrike creating 50 jobs as it sets up European HQ in Dublin
What's happening in Dublin?

Business software company Wrike is to set up its European headquarters in Dublin, creating 50 jobs over the next two years.

The company was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Mountain View. Wrike is a SaaS-based work platform with 9,000 organisations using its paid product. Customers include Google, Hootsuite, AT&T, Adobe, and Hawaiian Airlines.It has raised US$26m from Bain Capital Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, DCM Ventures and TMT.

“We are impressed by the tech community in Ireland and aim to build a dynamic and ambitious team in Dublin that will directly contribute to Wrike’s high-growth and dedicated customer service,” said the company’s founder and CEO, Andrew Filev. “We have grown at a record speed over the past few years and our European HQ will market and support Wrike prospects and customers across Europe."

The jobs are being created with the support of the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.
