CAO Available Places
All DBS courses, Level 8, 7 and 6, are now available through CAO Available Places. The CAO Available Places facility allows students the opportunity to add new courses to their CAO application. Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements in order to be eligible for the courses but there will be no points cut off. If you meet the minimum entry requirments and have applied via CAO Available Places, you will be offered the course of your choice as DBS do not operate a quota system on their courses.  Please remember to list your course in order of preferences.

Advanced Entry

If you are currently completing a Fetac Level 6 course and want to progress your level of education, you can apply directly to DBS. Students completing a course in a similar area of study may qualify for entry into year 3 of the Level 7 degree and year 2 of the Level 8 Honours degree.

For more information, please contact admissions at admissions@dbs.ie or call (01) 4177500.

Mature Students

Applicants over the age of 23 years are classified as mature students. With mature student applications, there is a greater focus on previous experience instead of just entry requirements.
At DBS, mature students can apply directly to us by completing an online application form and submitting a copy of their CV, photographic identification and a copy of their transcripts.
DBS does not operate a quota system for mature student applications.
