CAO Change of Mind - Closing Date July 1st
 
The deadline for the CAO Change of Mind facility is tomorrow, July 1st at 17:15.  Now that most exams are over, the CAO Change of Mind allows you the final opportunity to review your CAO Application prior to the issusing of offers. For information on the CAO Change of Mind, please see link here

DBS Courses with No Mathematics Requirement
 
Maths can be a difficult subject for some students. At DBS we have a number of courses that do not include Mathematics as part of the minimum entry requirements. These include the following courses:
  • Higher Certificate in Arts
  • BA (Hons) Journalism
  • BA (Hons) Film
  • BA in Film & Media
  • BA in Journalism and Media
  • Bachelor of Laws (Hons) LL.B
  • BA in Legal Studies
  • Higher Certificate in Legal Studies

DBS Open Evening August 22nd 4-7pm
 

The next DBS Open Evening is scheduled for Tuesday August 22nd, the day after CAO First Round Offers are issued. The event takes place between 4-7pm in our Aungier Street campus. Lecturers and Admissions staff will be on hand to advise you, steer you through the CAO process and answer any questions you may have. 


Our Open Events are an ideal opportunity for you to visit the college and obtain further information on all our Full-Time Undergraduate Programmes. With programmes ranging from Psychology, to Business, to Computing, to Law, we offer courses across a wide variety of disciplines. You can meet lecturers, students and staff at the open event.

DBS Wins 'Best Student Experience' Award and 'Best Library Team' Award
Education Awards 2017
 
We are delighted to announce that DBS scooped two awards at the 2017 Education Awards at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin. DBS claimed the prize for the Best Student Experience Award and the Best Library Team Award. These are two vital functions in DBS and contribute greatly to the  daily lives of our students.

Advanced Entry
 

If you are currently completing a Fetac Level 6 course and want to progress your level of education, you can apply directly to DBS. Students completing a course in a similar area of study may qualify for entry into year 3 of the Level 7 degree and year 2 of the Level 8 Honours degree.

Mature Students
 

Applicants over the age of 23 years are classified as mature students. With mature student applications, there is a greater focus on previous experience instead of just entry requirements.
At DBS, mature students can apply directly to us by completing an online application form and submitting a copy of their CV, photographic identification and a copy of their transcripts.
DBS does not operate a quota system for mature student applications.
