LinkedIn enables you to create an online advertisement for yourself. Your 'Professional Headline' is the text space next to your name. You have 120 characters to relate your skills and career goals to your online identity. Recruiters and Hiring Managers search for specific terms such as skills and qualifications online on a daily basis. They are using a combination of google search and LinkedIn search functions.

A common question DBS Careers Services get asked is "How do I make my profile more likely to appear higher in the rankings by LinkedIn’s search engine?"

100 jobs to be created in Dublin by Aztec Money
Get your career moving with a DBS professional qualification

A FINANCE firm Aztec Money is setting up its global headquarters in George’s Quay in Dublin and plans to create 100 jobs. 


The jobs will come on stream in the next two years. It is also looking for graduates to take up intern roles at the firm. The company helps small and medium businesses get better access to finance without having to go through their banks. It serves global markets including Africa, Asia and the Americas. This is the first of two jobs boosts for the city planned in the near future.
