Rio de Janeiro headquartered e-learning company Affero Lab is to create 40 R&D jobs at its new European Operations Centre in Dublin.

The new lab will focus on research and development, enhancing and developing the company’s technologies in the areas of adaptive learning, gamification, mobile learning and data analytics.

In addition, the company will employ sales and support staff to support the company’s clients in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

“Affero Lab has identified Ireland as a leading innovation hub for e-learning companies and a source of first-rate software and engineering skills,”
said Fabio Barcellos, chief strategy officer at Affero Lab.
