Psychology graduates gain valuable work experience abroad
Deveraux, a leading nonprofit behavioural health organisations, are based in the US and operate a comprehensive network of clinical, therapeutic, educational and employment programmes. They focus on research-based prevention initiatives that help children and adolescents develop resilliance and strong emoutional and social health.
Each year Deveraux run an 18 month paid work placement programme in Conneticut and Massachusetts and take a selection of Psychology graduates onto it. Last year, thirteen DBS psychology graduates secured a place on this programme. Three of the students were based in Conneticut and the other ten took places in Massachusetts. This provided them with valuable work experience in the US which will benefit their future career paths.
