Initially I chose the MBA (Marketing) program as an up skilling tool. Within the pharmaceutical industry it is compulsory to attain post graduate education to been seen as a proactive employee. An MBA is noticed globally as one of the highest academic achievements for any personnel and thus this was another reason I pushed myself to attain an MBA.

Personally I think the MBA program has made me more organized and my time management is a lot better according to my wife! I also read a lot more financial and business papers and have started to follow the stock markets a lot more and find myself constantly on the wall street journal and the Bloomberg website.

Professionally I have gained a new job with an American pharmaceutical company. Due to the completion of the MBA program in DBS I gained a position as National account manager for the Irish market.

I think logistically DBS is so central and so accessible it allows a part-time student / full-time worker easy access to the college facilities morning, noon or night. The generic MBA program was well facilitated also as a student could pick what electives he/she likes after attending some classes. The lecturers were fantastic. I learnt so much from this course and use it daily in my working life. Also I felt the dissertation program was very well led. The mentor program is a great facility as without it I’m not sure if I would have done half as good in my final result.

All in all I would highly recommend the MBA program in DBS due to the fantastic lectures, the central location and the dissertation programme.
