Ryanair notches up 250,000 Facebook fans in six weeks
Ryanair said today that it has reached 250,000 Facebook followers in the six weeks since it joined the social media site on the 30th anniversary of its first ever flight in July.
The airline’s Facebook page includes latest route news and developments, competitions and offers, and real-time customer service.
One of those competitions is ’30 Names, 30 Planes’, which is offering 30 fans the chance to have their name and face pictured on one of 30 Ryanair aircraft.
Entry is only through the Ryanair Facebook page, where fans can upload their photo and download a CGI video of their own Ryanair plane bearing their name and face. The competition closes at 9pm on Monday 31 August.
