What's New at DBS for Employers

Since we last met, there have been a number of interesting and exciting developments at Dublin Business School which I wanted to update you on.

We recently launched a number of new programmes across a range of disciplines, expanded our online offering for DBX, and Springboard+ 2017 became open for applications. In advance of our next scheduled intake in September, our open event on August 22nd provides a great opportunity for any employees looking to upskill to find out about our range of programmes on offer and meet members of our academic team.

Harvey Norman Partnership

We recently launched a bespoke Diploma in Leadership and Management, delivered over 18 months for 60 Harvey Norman staff. This unique programme was designed in consultation with Harvey Norman and mirrors Harvey Norman’s core competencies.

New Online Programmes

In line with demand from employers, DBS are delighted to announce that we have a range of new online programmes available in Autumn in the areas of IT, Fintech, Data Analytics, Management Practise, Digital Media and more.

DBX Professional Evening Diplomas are structured to provide an exceptional learning experience for all participants and are completed wholly online. Ideally suited to busy working professionals seeking a remote learning experience and increased flexibility. See our range of online courses here.

Springboard+ 2017 Launches

Our Springboard+ programmes afford employees the excellent opportunity to upskill or cross skill on a part-time basis while working. Dublin Business School, in conjunction with the Higher Education Authority (HEA) under the Government Springboard+ initiative, is providing both the employed and unemployed the opportunity to re-skill or upskill for FREE under a range of approved and accredited courses.

Open Event - August 22nd

Exhibit at our next Careers Event

You are invited to exhibit, free of charge, at our next career event on Thursday October 26th, where you will have an opportunity to meet graduates in person to discuss vacancies and career opportunities within your organisation.

Our dedicated Careers Service department can help you access recent graduates seeking employment or work experience. If you are looking to increase brand awareness among graduates or could benefit from students seeking work experience, please get in touch.

Irish Education Awards

At the recent Education Awards, DBS won the Best Student Experience Award and the Best Library Team Award.

This is a fantastic achievement and is testament to the outstanding contributions of both the Student Experience Team (including Career Services) and the Library Team at Dublin Business School.
