CAO Available Places

Standard applications through the CAO  for  the 2016 / 2017 Full Time Undergraduate intake are now closed. If you are under 23 years of age and want to begin your full time undergraduate course this year you can avail of the CAO Available Places scheme. This process allows students to apply for courses that have not been filled during the first round of CAO offers. In order to avail of Available Places you need to register with the CAO. Registration for Available Places for level 6 and 7 courses are now available on the CAO website. Registration for Level 8 courses becomes available in August. Next Open Evening at DBS: 23rd Aug 5-7pm

Would you like to study at DBS? 


Come along to our next Open Evening for CAO students in our Aungier Street campus on Tuesday the 23rd August  from 5-7pm.  Your Leaving Certificate results will have been issued at this stage and you will have just received your CAO first Round offers. So if you are confused about courses, CAO process or any other issue, please visit us at DBS Aungier Street on the 23rd August from 5-7pm. If you cannot make the 23rd August event, we have another Open Day on Saturday the 27th August from 11am-2pm in our Castle House Campus in order to meet with you and help answer any questions you may have. 

5 Reasons you should attend a DBS Open Day: 


1. Meet our lecturers - Speak to lecturers from all the different faculties and get a real insight into what each course offers, how the course is structured and how you will be assessed. 

2. See our facilities - Take the chance to get a feel for the college and see what our lecture theatres are like along with our other facilities such as the library, common room and canteen. 

3. Advice - If you're not sure what course to apply for or which career path you would like to take, don't worry; our admissions and academic staff can help advise you of your options and help pick the right course for you.

4. Student Experience - Get an insight into the many different sports and societies on offer at DBS.  These include  sports such as football and swimming through to film and dance. 

5. Discover the local area: Experience our city centre location, just three minutes from Grafton Street, and the vibrant local atmosphere which includes a variety of restaurants, cafes and leisure activities.
