The online CAO application process opened last week meaning that its time to start thinking about college courses and your future. Researching so many courses, while studying, can be overwhelming.

DBS are here to help you out with out CAO inspired newsletters. Employers now seeking students who have achieved in college inside and outside the classroom

Activities outside the lecture hall play a crucial role when employers are hiring staff from third level education.

 

Graduates are discovering that their academic performance must be coupled with contribution to college life, clubs and societies if they want to succeed in the competitive graduate recruitment market.


In an article written about the 2011 graduate recruitment cycle, David Broderick, who organises graduate placements for IBEC's Export Orientation Programme (EOP), said society and club involvement at 3rd level was a vital indication of organisation skills and teamwork, which are vital for graduate employers.

Don't forget - January Intake
Don't forget, some of our Level 8 Honours Business Degree programmes with common level 1 modules will be offered commencing late January 2013 (subject to student numbers). Applications are currently being accepted for these programmes.

DBS will be holding an Open Event on Tuesday 4th December from 5-7pm in our Aungier Street building.



The Open Event is an ideal opportunity for you to visit the college and obtain further information on our Full-Time Undergraduate programmes and speak with industry specialist lecturers to identify the programme that is most suitable for your future development. The evening poses an ideal chance to ask any questions you may have and discuss programme options prior to making a application to commence study with us in the new year.
