Springboard+ is Now Open for Applications

DBS is delighted to announce, in conjunction with the Higher Education Authority (HEA), we are offering a number of free programme places across the Government Funded Springboard+ 2017 initiative this Autumn. As places are limited, early application is advised to avoid disappointment.

We have a number of places on our part-time Springboard courses and both part and full-time ICT Skills programme places on offer.


All Springboard+ programmes are due to commence the week of 25th September.



What is Springboard+ 2017?
The Springboard+ initiative offers free part and full-time courses at Certificate, Degree and Masters level.
All courses lead to qualifications in enterprise sectors which are growing and need skilled personnel, including information and communications technology (ICT); international financial services; and cross-enterprise skills such as digital marketing.

As part of the Springboard+ 2017 initiative DBS is offering 6 free part-time Springboard programmes in the areas of:

4 free full-time Postgraduate conversion Diplomas* in the ICT areas of:

5 free part-time Postgraduate conversion Diplomas* in the ICT areas of:

*Please note these part-time programmes are open to people in employment.

Next DBS Open Evening: 13th June, 5-7pm
Aungier Street Campus
Whether you are thinking of applying for a DBS Springboard+ course this Autumn or you are already enrolled on a Springboard+ programme, make sure you come along to our next 2017 Open Evening on Tuesday June 13th between 5pm-7pm in our Aungier Street campus. 

Open events are an excellent opportunity to meet with specialist lecturers who can talk to you about course content, learning outcomes and course assessments; as well as an opportunity to visit the college and obtain further information on all our programmes.

Haven't studied in a few years? No problem! You can get advice from our Student Services team who will be able to give you tips and guidance on how best to approach college life and getting back in to study, if its been a while for you!

Car Parking at DBS
We have subsidised car parking available with two car parks, either Drury Street Multi Storey on Drury Street or Royal College of Surgeons Car Park attached to St Stephens Green Shopping Centre - simply tag your ticket as you leave Open Event and the rate will be applied.

DBS offers a range of full and part-time courses under Springboard+, some of which are designed for people in receipt of social welfare, and some are open to people who are currently working. Places fill fast, so apply as soon as you can.

Courses
 

DBS offers part-time Springboard courses across a range of areas, including digital marketing, programming, fund accounting, big data and business skills.
There are also a number of full and part-time places available on the ICT Skills programmes.
Places are limited and applications should be made directly on the Springboard+ website.
