Dublin celebrated a special birthday last week,the Ha'penny Bridge celebrated is 200th year stretching across Dublin's River Liffey.

Last month was a very significant time in Ireland, as the Easter weekend marked 100 years since the Easter Rising of 1916, when Ireland began to fight for its independence. Fighting took place around Dublin City. Buildings along Aungier Street, where DBS is located were used by Irish rebels in the fighting.  Talking points of the weekend were the Easter Sunday parade and the magical concert at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, where music, song, dance and poetry showcased ireland's talents as a nation and told the story of the Easter Rising.
