Job Announcements: 46 new jobs for Tourism Sector with Dualway Group
Is a career in the Tourism and Hospitality Sector for you?

The Dualway Group has announced plans to recruit 46 new employees. The jobs are mainly for its Dublin City-centre based ‘Hop On, Hop Off’ sight-seeing bus tours.

“We’re looking for people who can ‘sell’ Dublin. They all have to have one thing in common, they must ‘love Dublin’, because that’s the product we train all our staff, no matter what job they have, to sell.”

The operator of the Dublin-based City Sightseeing bus tours and of the Dublin Visitor Centres is also increasing its bus fleet by 50% with the purchase of ten new buses at a cost of €800,000. The company has also just spent a further €200,000 upgrading its existing fleet. Last week, Dualway also bought 117/118 Grafton St in Dublin City Centre for €3.5m to house its fifth Dublin Visitor Centre shop in the capital.

The Dualway Group is owned and run from Rathcoole, Dublin by the second generation of the McConn family and currently employs 101 people.

David McConn, CEO of Dualway, said the tourist sector had “definitely turned the corner and we’re anticipating good growth this year in visitors to Dublin”. “Taking this into consideration, we’ve decided that now is a good time to make this major investment.
