Last chance to meet with Springboard+ Programme Lecturers, Admissions Staff and the DBS Student Services team at our final open evening
on Tuesday 13th September 5-7pm
Whether your thinking of applying for a DBS Springboard+ course this September or you are already enrolled on a Springboard programme, make sure you come along to our last 2016 Open Evening on Tuesday September 13th from 5pm-7pm in our Aungier Street campus. 

Open events are an excellent opportunity to meet with specialist lecturers who can talk to you about course content, learning outcomes and course assessments; as well as an opportunity to visit the college and obtain further information on all our programmes.

Haven't studied in a few years? No problem! You can get advice from our Student Services team who will be able to give you tips and guidance on how best to approach college life and getting back in to study, if its been a while for you!

Courses are nearly full so be sure to get your application in on the Springboard Website!

Car Parking at DBS
We have subsidised car parking available with two car parks, either Drury Street Multi Storey on Drury Street or Royal College of Surgeons Car Park attached to St Stephens Green Shopping Centre.


Drury Street Multi Story
Monday – Friday, €2.50 for the evening from 4.30pm to 1am.They also do a daily rate of €10.00 and this is also extended to weekends if you are in for revision or study.


Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI)
Monday – Friday, €2.00 for the evening from 5pm – Midnight.


You will need to get your ticket validated from our security desk in Aungier Street and the machine at the car park will be able to recognise this rate to pay.

What is the Springboard+ 2016 initiative?
The Springboard+ initiative in higher education offers free, part-time courses at certificate, degree and masters level. All courses lead to qualifications in enterprise sectors which are growing and need skilled personnel, including information and communications technology (ICT); manufacturing; international financial services; and key skills for enterprise to trade internationally. Qualifications are also available in cross-enterprise skills such as innovation, enterprise/entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and project management.

As part of the Springboard+ 2016 initiative it will be offering 6 FREE part-time Springboard programmes in the areas of:

  •  Springboard+ Diploma in Big Data for Business
  •  Springboard+ Certificate in Fund Accounting
  •  Springboard+ Certificate Business Skills
  •  Springboard+ Certificate Digital Marketing
  •  Springboard+ Certificate Programming
  •  Springboard+ Certificate Risk & Financial Analysis

and 

FREE Postgraduate conversion Diplomas* in the ICT areas of: 

  • Higher Diploma in Science in Data Analytics
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Software Development)
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Web & Cloud Technologies)
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (IT Infrastructure & Networking)

* Each running both part-time & full time - eligibility for these full-time & part-time programmes depends on your employment status.
