Thank you for your enquiry about Available Places at DBS.  The CAO 'Available/Vacant Places' option is now available online at the CAO website . Applicants with an existing CAO application for 2014 can apply for an available place online here.

If an applicant completes an application for an available/ vacant place and are eligible, they are likely to receive an offer from CAO in the next round of offers. Vacant Places offers will be issued on a weekly basis until the end of September 2014.

Please note that available/ vacant places applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements of the college as stated in the relevant prospectus. For further information on Full-Time Undergraduate programmes and entry requirements at DBS, please visit

For further information and advice on using the vacant places facility you can speak to one of our admssions staff at the next Open Events on Tuesday 9 September from 5.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m.

 

You may also apply for an available/ vacant place in September 2014 without having an existing 2014 CAO application; however you will be subject to a 40 Euro fee payment upon application.

Fresher’s Week Fun!
September 29th - October 2nd

Week 1 at DBS is packed full of Fresher’s Week activities – there will be something for everyone.  We will have activities such as a Games Day, Sports and Societies Day, Get to Know Dublin Day, a late-night party in Lafayette, go karting, paintballing and much more!  Fresher’s Week is a great opportunity to get to know your classmates and make new friends, and we are really looking forward to meeting all of our new students in September!

Where you'll go?

  • BA (Hons) Arts - Graduates are currently working in the film, radio and theatre industries. Further pathways include teaching, lecturing, advertising, business, the health services, the government and a range of other areas.
  • BA (Hons) Psychology (PSI accredited) - Graduates have progressed into a broad range of areas such as teaching, research, counselling, community or youth work, assistant psychologist, classroom assistant, care worker, support worker and many more.
  • BA (Hons) in Business - Business graduates have progressed into careers in marketing, sales, operations, information technology, finance and general management.
  • Bachelor of Laws (Hons) - For those wishing to train as a solicitor or barrister. Graduates also have also progressed to careers in social sciences, politics, the media and public services.
  • BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance - Graduates from this programme often use it as a fast track to professional accountancy qualifications, availing of their entitlement to exceptional exemptions from ACCA and CIMA.
