Revision Programmes for September Exams

As a result of the introduction of the additional ACCA examination sittings, DBS has tailored its programme delivery and structures to meet the needs of our ACCA students. In addition to providing a full package of programmes for the traditional December and June examination sittings DBS will be offering intensive revision programmes for the September and March examination sittings. Programmes will be offered for September in the following subjects: F5, F7, F8, F9, P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 and P7. Students can tailor their programme of study to meet their individual needs.

ACCA Open Evening - Thursday 13 August
The next DBS Open Evening will take place on Thursday 13 August 2015 from 6.30 p.m. - 8.30 p.m. in our Castle House campus building. Come along and meet lecturers and discover more on why DBS are leaders in the field when it comes to tuition programmes for ACCA.
Lecturers from all areas will also be on hand to talk to students about their courses choices, what is involved and what you can expect from coming to college at DBS.
If you can't make the open event, you can call in to speak to a member of the Admissions team at our Aungier Street Campus between 9.00 a.m. and 5.15 p.m. on Monday to Friday.

Starboard Technology Used in our classrooms instead of acetates, all notes/ questions/ solutions written on screen during class are sent to your email account and uploaded to Moodle (the College’s virtual learning environment), allowing students to concentrate on learning instead of note taking in class. Instant Messaging Service If you have a query that can’t wait until class time, you can contact the Professional School Support Team online via the student intranet. Experience To qualify as an ACCA member you must complete three years’ relevant work experience, achieving 13 of a list of 20 performance objectives. The performance objectives link to the exams so that what you learn relates directly to the workplace. Each performance objective sets out a clear guide of activities for you to do in the workplace and they need to be signed off by your workplace mentor. Ethics ACCA members are not just good accountants, but also accountants that are good. That is why ethics is at the heart of the ACCA Qualification, embedded in the exams, experience and through the completion of an online professional ethics module
