Open Evening - Tuesday 20th August, 4 -7pm
Discuss your next professional move

DBS will be holding a number of Open Events throughout the month of August for our suite of Evening Degree Programmes.

The advice and information that can be gained at our Open Events can prove an invaluable tool in your decision making. An Open Evening will give you the opportunity to chat informally with programme experts, obtain valuable insights into programme structures and teaching styles and ultimately help you decide which course is the correct one to suit your ambitions.

The Next DBS Open Evening will take place on Tuesday 20th August, 4-7pm in our Aungier Street campus building. Open Evenings provide prospective students with the opportunity to discuss programmes that may interest them both personally and professionally.

Student focused learning

Over the last 35 years DBS has built a considerable reputation for the quality of its teaching. As an institution, we focus our main research activity on the constant improvement of the learning experience for our students. Evidence of the success we have achieved has come in many different ways.

Feedback from students indicate that they value the student focus that our lecturers and support staff offer. At DBS, this is the key factor in our service delivery. We recognise that you may need different types of support as you progress through your studies, academic direction, career advice, mentoring or personal attention. We offer a comprehensive service in these areas to all our students, both full and part-time.

Along with our student centred approach to learning, we understand that before returning to education there will be many key considerations that you will have to make, whether it be organising childcare, combining study with full-time employment, or other personal commitments. For that reason, we, at DBS take a holistic view to college life. The work/life/study balance is something we regard at DBS as being vitally important to student success. Accordingly, we organise, through our dedicated support staff; flexible timetables, shared group work and dedicated programme leaders to ensure that all our students are fully equipped to successfully complete their chosen programme.
