DBS Careers Fair Round-Up

The DBS Careers Department recently held the first Careers Fair of the academic year. The event was a resounding success with more companies than ever in attendance including Version1, Amazon, EY, CPL Recruitment, Jameson, Grad Ireland, Oracle, Applegreen and Smyths Toys.

The Careers Fair presents students with a fantastic opportunity to meet with employers in person and discuss potential job opportunities as well as hand out CV’s. Many of our past students have secured full-time positions from attending the fair in previous years and it remains an integral part of the academic calendar.

Companies on the day covered a wide spectrum of disciplines, ranging from IT, Finance, HR, Event Marketing, Retail, Healthcare, Sales and Banking to name but a few. We were also delighted to welcome volunteering organisations to our Careers Fair, as they provide excellent opportunities for students looking to gain experience and build their CV’s. Recruitment agencies were also on-hand offering CV advice and showcasing the wide range of full and part-time jobs they have on offer across a vast array of sectors.
