ACCA Open Evening 23 July 2014
6.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m. Radisson Blu Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin

ACCA will be hosting an open evening to support potential students in The Radisson Blu Hotel In Dublin on 23 July. This event will provide potential students with the information and resources to support them on their way to becoming ACCA qualified professionals.

The internationally recognised ACCA qualification is designed to provide the accounting knowledge, skills and professional values which will deliver finance professionals who are capable of building successful careers across all sectors.

Starboard Technology Used in our classrooms instead of acetates, all notes/ questions/ solutions written on screen during class are sent to your email account and uploaded to Moodle (the College’s virtual learning environment), allowing students to concentrate on learning instead of note taking in class.

ACCA Ireland Elects New President
Anne Keogh, CFO of The Well Water Company is elected ACCA President

Senior financial professional, Anne Keogh has been elected President of ACCA Ireland (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) at the ACCA Annual General Meeting.

In her first address as ACCA President, Anne emphasised the role of accountants and entrepreneurship, and the supporting but critical role they play in small start-up businesses, key to economic renewal in Ireland. She also emphasised the role of mentoring in business development, particularly within small business, and outlined her intention to enhance ACCA Ireland’s mentoring policy and strategy for its 20,000 strong members during her tenure as President.

The Next DBS ACCA Open Evening will take place on Wednesday 13 August 2014 from 6.30 p.m. in Castlehouse, Georges Street. Open Evenings provide prospective students with the opportunity to discuss courses that may be of interest to them both personally and professionally.
