Course Details
The Diploma in MarketingAdvertising, Sales and Public Relations provides students with an introduction to marketing and promotional methods used in industry. On completion of this programme students should have a firm grounding in subject areas such as Marketing Theory & Practice, Advertising, Sales & Sales Management and Public Relations

The lecturing team will consist of lecturers who combine academic qualifications with substantial practical business and marketing experience. In addition, marketing professionals will be invited as guest lecturers to discuss practices in the industry. A wide range of teaching techniques, including lectures, videos, workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and case studies will form an integral part of the course.

On completion of this programme, students will have the knowledge and skills required to work in a variety of marketing and business positions such as marketing assistant, PR executive, advertising executive, customer relations or as a sales representative.

This Diploma is awarded by the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM). ICM was founded in 1979. Just Eat to sponsor 2fm’s Eoghan McDermott show
Takeaway app company is putting its name to drivetime slot on RTÉ station
Takeaway app company Just Eat is to sponsor Eoghan McDermott’s drivetime show on 2fm from Monday in an eight-month deal.Just Eat will put its name to The Eoghan McDermott Show in a deal that includes 45 credited stings a week on the RTÉ national station as well as podcast and homepage sponsorship and other promotions.McDermott began presenting the 4pm-7pm show in August 2015 and, according to the latest available figures, he has 109,000 listeners.

In January, the FTSE 250-listed group reported that sales rose by more than a third in 2016, albeit at a slower rate of growth than in previous years.The company has upgraded its profit forecasts three times for 2016 and five times in the past two years. It has faced increased competition of late from companies such as Deliveroo.
