A Typical Day In The Life Of A Startup CEO

I’ve had the privilege of working closely with CEOs of all kinds throughout my career, from leaders of Fortune 500 companies to founders of private investment firms. The role of the startup CEO, however, is different from anything I’ve ever seen. When you’re leading a young company, you must live a life of balance. Strategy must be balanced with operations, and leadership must be balanced with a willingness to listen. It’s truly a role unlike any other.


When I tell people that I’m the CEO of a fintech startup, I’m often met with blank stares and questions of “so what does that mean, exactly?”

DBS offer a general MBA, but also in a range of specific specialisations:

MBA (Cloud Computing)

Structure:

Full -Time - 1 Year

Part -Time - 2 Years (two evenings per week)


Entry Requirements:

  • A minimum Second Class Honours Degree (2.2) in any discipline from a recognised third level institution, or
  • An equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA or
  • Higher Diploma in Business Level 8 conversion programme.
  • The GMAT exam is a mandatory requirement for all applicants who do not hold an Honours Bachelor Degree (Level 8) with a minimum achievement of Second Class Honours.
