Dublin - a hit with students
Dublin ranked one of the best student cities in the world by QS ranking

Dublin offers a high quality educational experience; it's a friendly, open, welcoming city; a young and diverse/multicultural city; relatively small scale, easy to get around, easy access to countryside and rest of Ireland; great cultural life including popular and music culture (and all public museums, galleries etc are free!)

‘The emerging internet capital of Europe’ and ‘Dublin’s silicon dock’ are just some of the phrases being used to describe Dublin’s tech cluster. These are exciting times for the city with twitter recently adding their name to companies such as Google, Facebook, Linkedin and Zynga who are all setting up in the docklands area of the city (and all within walking distance of each other). Add to this the long term presence of the likes of IBM, Microsoft, HP and Intel – it is clear to see why Dublin is becoming known as the silicon valley of Europe. Dublin is also emerging as a cloud computing hub with Microsoft, Amazon, IBM etc all active in this area.

Dublin is ranked one of the best student cities in the world by recently QS ranking. This ranking is based on a complex set of measure the results provide a new way of comparing the best cities around the world in which to be a student.
