Cloud computing firm set to create 100 jobs
Salesforce.com, is to expand its operations in Dublin.

The company plans to hire qualified professionals in sales, marketing, IT and customer support.

The announcement was made in Dublin by Taoiseach Enda Kenny at the company’s new 50,000sq ft office complex in Leopardstown.

"Ireland’s reputation as a digital island acting as a European hub for the digital industry is growing rapidly as more businesses like salesforce.com expand their operations here," Mr Kenny said.

The Taoiseach added that the new jobs reinforced the Government’s plan to become a world leader in the social and cloud computing areas.

"This is a strong endorsement of Ireland’s strengths in the digital sector and of our talented and dedicated people. The company’s leadership in social, mobile and cloud computing aligns with the Government’s policy and Action Plan for Jobs in these fast growing sectors." he said.

Senior vice president, salesforce.com, David Dempsey said Ireland is key to the companies success in Europe.
