DBS "Attracting top quality lecturers"
With so many colleges to choose from in the CAO, it can be difficut to pick out the best for you.

In the Irish Times CAO 2013 supplement, Peter McGuire places focus on how DBS is attracting top-quality lecturers who "are still working in their field", imparting valuable knowledge and experience on their students. The lecturers know exactly what industry is looking for which means that they are continuously keeping their students movitated and ahead of the curve.

The article stated that the fees can be a drawback for many considering attending a private institution. However, with the increase of the registration fee over the next 3 years, the gap between the public and private colleges is closing. And with payment plans available for students, smaller class sizes, the city centre location and a wide breath of "employer focused courses", DBS has become a strong contender for students considering the options for third level studies.

Finally, the article highlights how standards within the private sector "tend to be rigorously assessed" meaning that students can be safe in the knowledge that they are gaining a top class education, from a "highly regarded" and recognised third-level institution in Ireland.

For detailed information about the different Full-Time Undergraduate programmes offered by DBS, check our website. Alternatively, come along to our Open Day, Tuesday 29th January 5-7pm where you can speak to academic and admissions staff about your options for 2013. Our admissions office also operates a drop in service from 8:45 - 5:15 Monday to Friday in our Aungier Street building and can be contacted at 01-4177500 or by emailing admissions@dbs.ie
