Deadline for accepting Round 3 offers is Wednesday 10 September

Congratulations on your offer for DBS through the CAO system. We would like to remind you that offers must be accepted through CAO by Wednesday 10 September at 5.15 p.m..

Offers must be accepted in order to secure your place at DBS. Once you have confimed your place at DBS we will be in contact with you to discuss the next steps.

For further information on DBS you can attend our next Open Event on Tuesday 9 September 2014 from 5.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m.
These events will give you an opportunity to meet with your lecturers, discover the library and view the facilities on offer to you from this September

Fresher’s Week Fun!
September 29th - October 2nd

Week 1 at DBS is packed full of Fresher’s Week activities – there will be something for everyone.  We will have activities such as a Games Day, Sports and Societies Day, Get to Know Dublin Day, a late-night party in Lafayette, go karting, paintballing and much more!  Fresher’s Week is a great opportunity to get to know your classmates and make new friends, and we are really looking forward to meeting all of our new students in September!

Our Open Events are an ideal opportunity for you to visit the college and obtain further information on all our Full Time Undergraduate Degree programmes and speak with industry specialist lecturers to identify the programme that is most suitable for your future development.

Where you'll go?

  • BA (Hons) Arts - Graduates are currently working in the film, radio and theatre industries. Further pathways include teaching, lecturing, advertising, business, the health services, the government and a range of other areas.
  • BA (Hons) Psychology  (PSI accredited) - Graduates have progressed into a broad range of areas such as teaching, research, counselling, community or youth work, assistant psychologist, classroom assistant, care worker, support worker and many more.
  • BA (Hons) in Business - Business graduates have progressed into careers in marketing, sales, operations, information technology, finance and general management.
  • Bachelor of Laws (Hons) - For those wishing to train as a solicitor or barrister. Graduates also have also progressed to careers in social sciences, politics, the media and public services.
  • BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance - Graduates from this programme often use it as a fast track to professional accountancy qualifications, availing of their entitlement to exceptional exemptions from ACCA and CIMA.

Leader - Every organisation in the workforce are looking for people who are leaders!  Get involved and develop your leadership and teamwork skills.
Meetings - Committee meetings can be held in class rooms in the college all you need to do is contact Rob in student services to book a room.
Noticeboard  - Keep an eye out on the noticeboard outside student services in Castle House for news and updates.
Online - Moodle and facebook will keep you up to date on all sport and societies upcoming events.
Plenty of options to choose from.  there are over 40 Sports & Societies in DBS.
