For those who have not received an offer for a course through the CAO, vacant places are still available in DBS. Applications can be made through the CAO 'Available/Vacant Places' option online at the CAO website This facility is available for new applicants, but you will have to pay a €40 application fee. Existing CAO applicants can also available of this facility by logging into their existing CAO form and ammending with the Vacant Places course.

If an applicant fills in an application for an available/vacant place and are eligible, they are likely to receive an offer from CAO in the next round of offers, which will take place on Friday 4th October.

Please note that available/vacant places applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements of the college as stated in the relevant prospectus. You may also apply for an available/vacant place in August 2013 without having an existing 2013 CAO application; however you will be subject to a fee payment upon application.
