As a fee paying college, in DBS we are fully aware of the economic situation that a number of families have found themselves in over the last number of years. In response to this it is important that you and your students are aware of the following in terms of the fees.
Fees are payable in installments
In the last number of years we have accommodated a large number of parents and students in paying the fees in installments. Students can opt to either pay 50% upfront and then 25% in November and 25% in January or 25% upfront and then the balance in monthly installments. You can contact the Admissions Office for further information.
All fees are included
The fee that you see quoted on the relevant fee sheets and on the website are total fees and include all registration, tuition and examination fees. For example, students do not pay €5,200 plus the €2,250 contribution. The €2,250 is included in the total cost.
Tax Relief is available to all Irish Resident Income Tax Payers
All undergraduate programmes of 2 years duration or more have been approved for tax relief purposes. Tax relief is granted to Irish resident taxpayers at the standard rate of income tax in respect of Degree and Higher Certificate courses. For full-time courses, tax relief is granted on fees paid exceeding €2,000 and up to €5,000.
