DBS are holding Drop In Open Events on 

  • Saturday 27th August 12pm-2pm at Castle House, South Great George's Street
  • Tuesday 30th AUgust 5pm-7pm at 13/14 Aungier Street

    Our Open Events are an ideal opportunity for you to visit the college and obtain further information on all our Programmes.

    Car Parking at DBS
    We have subsidised car parking available with two car parks, either Drury Street Multi Storey on Drury Street or Royal College of Surgeons Car Park attached to St Stephens Green Shopping Centre.


    Drury Street Multi Story
    Monday – Friday, €2.50 for the evening from 4.30pm to 1am.They also do a daily rate of €10.00 and this is also extended to weekends if you are in for revision or study.


    Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI)
    Monday – Friday, €2.00 for the evening from 5pm – Midnight.


    You will need to get your ticket validated from our security desk in Aungier Street and the machine at the car park will be able to recognise this rate to pay.

DBS is delighted to announce that as part of the Springboard+ 2016 initiative it will be offering 6 FREE part-time Springboard programmes in the areas of

DBS will also be offering 4 FREE Postgraduate conversion Diplomas in the ICT areas of (each running both part-time & full time - eligibility for these full-time & part-time programmes depends on your employment status)

  • Higher Diploma in Science in Data Analytics
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Software Development)
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Web & Cloud Technologies)
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (IT Infrastructure & Networking)

What is Springboard+?
The Springboard+ initiative in higher education offers free, part-time courses at certificate, degree and masters level. All courses lead to qualifications in enterprise sectors which are growing and need skilled personnel, including information and communications technology (ICT); manufacturing; international financial services; and key skills for enterprise to trade internationally. Qualifications are also available in cross-enterprise skills such as innovation, enterprise/entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and project management.

How do I apply for a Springboard+ programme?
Applications for all Springboard+ programmes commencing in September 2016 are currently being accepted.
