DBS is offering another intake of our already successful ONLINE Professional Evening Diploma Programmes. This April 2020 DBS will be offering another session of our part-time Online Diploma Programmes in Digital Marketing and Strategy, Human Resource Management, Project Management and Psychology. Online Diplomas are short, flexible part-time programmes, that are designed to fit within your every day life. Classes are just one evening a week from 7:30-9:30pm and are 100% wholly online using the latest online classroom technology.

The Online Diploma in Digital Marketing and Strategy brings together all the necessary skills to design, build, manage and measure effective online and digital campaigns weaving together the core skills of digital marketing, social media, online PR, paid and organic search and measurement programmes. 

The aim of this online programme is to provide participants with a clearly defined set of practical digital skills which can be leveraged immediately at cline-side marketing teams, digital and integrated agencies, and drive strategy and tactical solutions for enterprise e-commerce businesses, B2B and B2C businesses, communications and public relations organisations, owner managed businesses, and web marketing organisations. 

Project Management is of growing importance to organisations because it deals effectively with the management of change. Organisations are beginning to realise that the traditional form of management cannot deal with the dynamics and resulting chaos of the modern economic, social and business environment.

On completion of this programme, participants will be able to understand the various aspects and approaches to Project Management, understand the essential skills required by a project manager, have a thorough understanding of the role played by stakeholders, identify and appraise the significance of considered management on the project life cycle, understand the theories of 'success criteria' and 'critical success factors' in the context of projects, be accomplished in Project Management tools and techniques for organising, auditing, and governing projects and for diminishing risk, appreciate the roles and values of the project office and put all of it to practice by drafting a project plan.

The Online Diploma in Human Resource Management provides a very effective practical overview of the latest thinking and case developments in HRM in order to provide both a conceptual and practical basis for student learning. It also encourages students to draw on their own experiences, and from their knowledge of the business world around them, to develop a clear understanding and practiucal working knowledge of what HRM in the modern organisation involves.

On completion of this programme students will acquire the skills to appreciate the strategic and operational significance of modern HRM practices, and be equipped with a highly relevant and useful theoretical framework for the development and evaluation of HRM concepts, strategies, policies, principles, and practices.

The Online Diploma in Psychology will be of interest to those who would like to know more about the key studies and theories that have shaped our understanding of the mind and behaviour. Students of psychology develop a set of skills highly valued by employers in terms of communication, organisation, critical thinking and time-management.

The science of Psychology allows students to develop and fine tune their ability to study behaviour logically and analytically which is a highly valued skill set for employers. In addition, psychology students will benefit from insights into effective thinking styles, into developing resilience and into the kinds of strategies that can help one make better decisions in business and life.
