Dublin's Web Summit predicts further opportunities in Ireland's technology industry Upskill in the areas that matter with an Postgraduate qualification in DBS in 2013
The recent Dublin Web Summitincluded two days of exhibits, speeches and discussions by some of the leading voices in the technology industry. Start-ups, investors and technology experts from Ireland and abroad were in the RDS for the two-day event, which also featured some of the latest innovations in social media, gaming and mobile.
The conference has been held in the city since 2009 and has now grown to become one of the largest technology events in Europe. From hi-tech giants to start-ups and rapidly expanding SME's, many company representatives were full of praise for Irish candidates seeking work and organisations such as the IDA who have worked to pitch Ireland to technology organisations.
Feedback from organisations was positive, with many, such as the multinational AOL and upcoming social media companies Hootsuite and Flipboard planning to recruit for Dublin locations in the near future.
