Psychological Society of Ireland and the Northern Ireland British Psychological Society host a Public Lecture for Psychology Students at DBS
DBS in conjunction with the PSI and the NIBPS will be holding a public lecture and a Careers Event on Friday 28th February and Saturday 1st March

Friday 28th February at 6pm:
PSI NIBPS free public lecture series will take place on Friday 28th of February at 6pm in Dublin Business School - Auditorium 1 (main building), 13 - 14 Aungier Street. The lecture, entitled 'The DSM: A development towards a clinical impasse', will be presented by Dr Rik Loose.
Rik Loose is a psychoanalyst in private practice and clinical psychologist who is former Head of Psychoanalysis, and currently a senior lecturer, in DBS School of Arts in Dublin. Rik also teaches on the Masters in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Programme run by University College Dublin (UCD) in association with St. Vincent's Hospital. He is a member of the Irish Circle of the Lacanian Orientation of the New Lacanian School (ICLO-NLS), a member of the Association of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland (APPI), a member of the World Association of Psychoanalysis and a Registered Psychologist with the PSI.
Saturday 1st of March:
A PSI & NIBPS Joint Careers Event will take place on Saturday 1st March in DBS. Invited delegates will attend talks covering the following areas of psychology: Educational; Occupational; Research; Counselling; Health; Clinical; Forensic; Sports and Coaching.
