Guinness Storehouse unveils interactive advertising exhibit

The Guinness Storehouse tourist attraction in Dublin has unveiled a new permanent interactive exhibit featuring collections of famous Guinness ads since 1929, film footage and historical artifacts.

Housed on the third floor of the Guinness Storehouse, the journey begins with ‘Gilroyland’ featuring the illustrations by Gilroy such as the famous toucan.

From there, visitors can become part of a Guinness ad in a seaside promenade style photo booth, before experiencing performances from the Whistling Oyster and the 1996 ‘Fish on a bicycle’ which has jumped off the screen and become a 3D moving animatronic fish.

Visitors are then plunged into a 'powerful surge' of Guinness ads in the 42 metre 360⁰ cinema area, which makes viewers feel like they are inside a pint of Guinness as its being poured.

The Guinness Storehouse has received over 13 million visitors to date since opening its doors in 2000.
