What is Springboard+?
 

The Springboard+ initiative offers Government funded courses at Certificate and Postgraduate Conversion Diploma levels.


All courses lead to qualifications in enterprise sectors seeking skilled personnel in areas including; Information and Communications Technology (ICT); International Financial Services; and cross-enterprise IT skills such as Big Data for Business.

 

The Springboard+ programmes listed below are open to all applicants; Employed, Unemployed, Returners and those Signing for Contribution Credits*.

 

  • Diploma in Big Data for Business [1 Year Part-Time] Level 7
  • Certificate in Fund Accounting [1 Year Part-Time] Level 7
  • Certificate in Regulatory Technology (RegTech) [1 Year Part-Time] Level 8
  • Certificate in Digital Marketing [1 Year Full-Time Daytime] Level 7

 

The ICT programmes listed below are open to applicants; Employed, Returners and those Signing for Contribution Credits*.

  • Higher Diploma in Science in Financial Technology (FinTech) [2 Years Part-Time] Level 8
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Software Development) [2 Years Part-Time] Level 8
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Web & Cloud Technologies) [2 Years Part-Time] Level 8 
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (DevOps) [2 Years Part-Time] Level 8
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Digital Marketing [2 Years Part-Time] Level 8

2020 Graduates: Avail of 90% HCI funded courses commencing in March 2021

HCI Pillar 1 programmes at DBS

Are you a 2020 level 8 Graduate? Did you know HCI Postgraduate Programmes are 90% government funded under Springboard for Programmes commencing in March 2021?

 

Under the Human Capital Initiative (HCI) Pillar 1, DBS is offering incentivised places for graduates to reskill in areas of skills shortage and emerging technologies such as Digital Marketing, Aviation Finance and Financial Analytics via graduate conversion courses.

 

Please note: The following HCI Pillar 1 Programmes are full-time QQI Level 8 Higher Diplomas & Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma:

 

  • Higher Diploma in Science in Aviation Finance
  • Higher Diploma in Science in Digital Marketing
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Analytics

These courses are 100% free to people receiving the various accepted Social Welfare payments and homemakers, and a 10% fee contribution is applicable to those currently working and recent graduates, subject to meeting the eligibility and academic entry requirements as listed on www.dbs.ie/springboard.

Programme Delivery

 

DBS aims to give you the best possible campus and blended learning experience. At present as we are on level 5 of the framework all evening classes are wholly online. We will re-introduce classroom/hybrid delivery into the part-time timetable when Dublin is reduced to Level 2 on the framework, although, in some instances, all classes will remain online.
