The Springboard Roadshow is a free event where you can find out everything you need to know about the Springboard initiative and the courses that are on offer.

This is a perfect opportunity for you to meet some of the staff from Dublin Business School and learn more about our college and our courses.
Our admissions team will be there to offer you advice and information regarding the 11 Springboard courses that are available at Dublin Business School and to help you get on course back to work.

Springboard at Dublin Business School
Dublin Business School (DBS) in conjunction with the Higher Education Authority (HEA) under the Government ‘Springboard’ initiative is providing the jobseeker the opportunity to reskill or upskill for FREE under a range of approved and accredited courses identified as providing training that will improve the future skills of the labour force, in a range of sectors where sustainable employment is predicted to rise as the economy recovers.

DBS is delighted to announce that it will be offering the following programmes:

Certificate in Fundamentals of Networking & Cloud Technologies (Level 6)
Certificate in Database Development & Cloud Technologies (Level 8)
Certificate in Advanced Networking & Cloud Technologies (Level 8)
Certificate in Software and Cloud Technologies (Level 8)
Certificate in Financial Services for IT Professionals (Level 7)
Certificate in Funding & Treasury (Level 7)
Certificate in Risk & Financial Analysis (Level 9)

Participants can study for free without losing their social protection entitlements, and there is no minimum period of time in which participants are required to have claimed social protection payments.

DBS Springboard Open Event
Our Springboard Open Event will take place on Wednesday 21st August at 5pm in our main building at 13/14 Aungier Street, Dublin 2. 

 

This Open Event will be an ideal opportunity for you to meet the admissions team, academic staff and to view the facilities of the college.

 

Alternatively, please feel free to visit the college anytime Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 5.15pm and a member of the admissions team would be happy to answer any questions you may have.


The college is located in the city centre and is a 2 minute walk from Stephen's Green Shopping Centre. Get directions to the college here

Student Support at DBS
You will be supported throughout your period of study by:
  • A dedicated Springboard Programme Leader who is responsible for the overall management and development of the relevant programme and the management and support of participants on the programmes
  • A range of learning support services to accommodate the participant such as; Careers Office, Student Services Office, Work placements and State-of-the-Art Libraries, Learning and IT Facilities
  • A pool of qualified academics with extensive industry experience in all sectors who can provide participants with guidance and support in re-entering employment in their chosen sector
  • Dublin city centre campuses located on Aungier Street, South Great Georges Street (Castle House), Balfe Street and Dame Street
  • e-learning support facilities, such as Moodle. By moving some parts of the programme online, lecturers can create a learning environment which enables better use of scheduled face-to-face time with adult learners enabling the development of more complex learning skills such as critical thinking, in the classroom
