You might be eligible for a FREE place on our Full-Time Higher Diploma in Science in Financial Technology (FinTech).

 

Dublin Business School in conjunction with Springboard+, Microsoft Ireland, their Partner Network and other relevant industry partners have developed an intensive 7 month full-time Level 8 Graduate Conversion programme leading to a Higher Diploma in Science in FinTech award.

 

This is an interdisciplinary programme that focuses on finance, data analytics and computing. It is designed to appeal to graduates seeking to gain exposure to FinTech - the technology enabled business model innovation in the financial sector.


Places are filling up fast for this sought after FREE programme, which is starting at the end of September, so early application is advised. 

 

Springboard+ is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Social Fund as part of the ESF programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning 2014-2020.

Do you qualify for one of these FREE ICT Programme places?  
 

People in the following categories are eligible to apply for courses in the 2018/19 academic year (subject to the applicant meeting all residency and nationality/visa requirements and any academic requirements):

 

*Graduates

This course is FREE to all graduates who are not in employment. Whether you are in receipt of Social Welfare or not, this programme is completely free of charge once you are not working (subject to the applicant meeting all residency and nationality/visa requirements and any academic requirements).

 

Returners (Formerly referred to as Homemakers)

Courses are FREE for these applicants. They may apply to all courses if they meet the nationality/visa requirement and residency criteria. Course specific criteria may also apply.

 

The unemployed or formerly self-employed

People in receipt of social welfare payments can apply for this full-time programme, however, If you are in receipt of social welfare payments for less than 9 months we advise you check with your social welfare case worker if your payments will be affected if you study this full-time course.

 

People in employment
Please note that under the Springboard+ 2018 initiative, 90% of the fees are covered by HEA and 10% of the fees are payable to the college for this category of applicants. They may apply to all courses if they meet the nationality/visa requirement and residency criteria. These fees can be paid by either the applicant or their employer, should the employer sponsor the applicant. Should you require a company sponsorship form for invoicing please let us know.

 

To be considered for admission to this programme, applicants must hold a Primary Honours Degree (Level 8) in a cognate discipline from a recognised third level institution or equivalent qualification.

Irish Education Awards
 

DBS has been named the winner of the top award at the National Education Awards 2018 for Overall Excellence in Education. The prizes were awarded at a Black Tie gala dinner in the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin. DBS had been nominated in 5 categories, picking up the award for Best College of Business along with the overall prize.
