Welcome to DBS

Dear CAO Applicant,

Thank you for your recent application to DBS through the CAO.

I am delighted to include a copy of our new Undergraduate Summary Brochure that provides relevant information about life at the college. DBS is Ireland’s largest independent third level institution with a student population of more than 8,000 and the potential to deliver over 30 accredited programmes at undergraduate level.

Our Open Evening offers the perfect opportunity to speak with our team of expert lecturers and gain first hand knowledge on programmes offered across a variety of disciplines including:

We will facilitate breakout rooms for you to explore – covering all disciplines. Our faculty, admissions team, and welcoming staff will be on hand to guide you through the process, help you visualise your future success and answer any questions you may have.

DBS Fees

As an independent college, DBS is a fee paying college and it is important to note that all fees quoted are inclusive of student registration fees and charges. All programmes qualify for tax relief.

There are no additional charges on top of the advertised fees, whereas other institutions that fall under the ‘free fees’ initiative will have additional costs on top of the €3,000 contribution fee that you pay.

DBS Student Mentor Programme

The DBS Student Mentor Programme is an in-house student-led, mentorship run by the Student Experience Team. Our mentors act as positive role models throughout the year to their respective groups and will be sources of information during our orientation programme from September until the end of the term.
