Zenith Technologies to create 30 new graduate jobs by end of 2014
Industrial IT solutions provider Zenith Technologies is to create 30 new jobs for graduates by the end of this year. The roles will be based in Ireland, Germany and Belgium.

Zenith Technologies has confirmed the new jobs are all graduate positions in engineering, systems integration and MES engineering. Five of the positions will be based in Germany, 10 will be based in Belgium, and the remaining 15 will be in Ireland.

These new positions brings the number of roles created by the company this year to 50, adding to its workforce of 400 employees.

Zenith Technologies, whose headquarters are in Ringaskiddy, Co Cork, provides automation, process control and manufacturing execution systems (MES) products and services, to global multinationals in the life-sciences sector.

The jobs news came during a trade and investment event Taoiseach Enda Kenny attended during his visit to Berlin.

Giving graduates new career paths Chief executive and founder of Zenith Technologies Brendan O’Regan said Ireland doesn’t get enough credit for the business it conducts abroad and hopes these new positions will contribute further to that business.

“It is important that people understand the business reasons why some of the leading global brands in pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceutical, ICT and healthcare base themselves in Ireland and how comprehensive Irish design, engineering and technology services are in improving efficiency and operations," O’Regan said.

“That expertise is now being exported worldwide with very positive results for Ireland and for Irish graduates for whom this represents great opportunity and really positive career paths.”

Ireland's Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said Zenith Technologies is an innovative Irish company that has gotten into the supply chain of top multinational companies, rapidly growing its export sales in growth markets like Germany and creating jobs in Ireland.
