We appreciate how stressful these last months have been - but the long wait is true and finally over.

DBS are looking forward to welcoming all incoming 1st Years on the the 5th October.

To this end, we've pooled together important dates for you to keep in mind. Moreover, we have tips and advice on how best to utilise this time ahead of the CAO deadline.

Key Dates to Remember:
Firstly, make sure to mark important CAO dates on your calendar. The CAO Website has a great calendar which has all the information you need.

Important dates to remember for next week are:

14th September - CAO Available Places opens @ 12 noon

15th September  - DBS Online Open Evening @ 17:00

16th September - Round 1 acceptances closing date (15:00).

(Remember: There will be a number of Round offers during the months of September and October. So for example, after Round 1 has closed, Round 2 offers are available on the 23rd of September, and so on. Find out when each round starts and ends on the CAO Calendar)

DBS Admissions Office is Now Open

While our physical campus has been closed since March, DBS has continued to be fully operational. We have taken all measures to ensure minimum disruption to our services as the Coronavirus COVID-19 situation evolved. We are very pleased to announce that in line with the Irish Government Reopening Plan our Admissions Office on Aungier Street is now open to deal with prospective student enquiries and applications for September 2020 entry.

The health and safety of our staff and students matter so we've made some important changes to keep everyone safe. If you have questions and would like to speak to a member of the DBS Team we look forward to welcoming you to our Aungier Street campus building where you can expect a safe and informative experience.

We understand you might be feeling a bit nervous so we’ve added some additional safety measures to make sure you feel as safe and comfortable as possible when you come in to see us.

  • We have rearranged our reception area to facilitate visitors who would like to have a face-to-face chat with our admissions staff. We have provided booths with protective screens for the protection of both parties.
  • We strongly encourage you to maintain social distancing guidelines of 2 metres between you and other people when visiting our Admissions Office.
  • Floor markers and queue ropes are in place to show you the recommended distance. The number of prospective students allowed in the building at any one time may be limited, in order to comply with HSE guidelines.
  • We have increased cleaning and sanitation of our buildings.

Our Admissions team is also still contactable by email admissions@dbs.ie and by phone + 353 1 4177500 to answer all your questions.
