With a demonstrable increasing demand for Project Managers, a recognised qualification in Project Management is an essential addition to your CV this year, whether your are working within the industry or seeking a change in career direction. Dublin Business School is a Recognised Education Provider (REP) of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and we offer two short skills-based Project Management programmes starting in February 2013:
Diploma in Project Management
- The course is designed to examine project management roles and environments, the project life cycle, and various tools and techniques of project initiation, planning, execution, control and close-out to successfully achieve project objectives
- The course explores the social, organisational, behavioural, and systems issues of project management and the programme will ultimately provide a framework for managing projects
- The students upon completion will understand the core competencies required to make an effective prohect manager including communications, leadership, motivation, negotiation and team building skills
- Starting Thursday February 7th for the duration of 14 weeks + 1 Saturday workshop
Advanced Diploma in Project Management
- Incorporating preparation for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Examination, the main focus of this programme will centre on the five projects management processes of Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control and Close-out
- The programme will bring participants up to speed in the current principles and practices of project management and students will study techniques that help prepare for the PMI examinations
- Sample questions are used in the classroom extensively, a review of material normally covered in the examination will be presented
- Starting Tuesday February 12th for the duration of 14 weeks
