New Programme Validation - MSc in Business Analytics

This month Quality & Qualifications Ireland validated our new (MSc) in Business Analytics.

Given the ever-increasing volume of data that businesses have access to today, there is a demand for employees who have computational, analytical and business strategy skills, who can inform business decisions to increase efficiency and an organisation’s value. This Master of Science in Business Analytics has been developed with the aim of providing learners with the knowledge, skills and research capability to critically analyse, implement and evaluate big data concepts and techniques in order to generate valuable insights, thereby assisting with strategic business decisions, increasing productivity, profitability and an organisation’s value and market share.

The tech scene in Dublin: what you need to know

How Ireland’s capital is quickly becoming the world's next tech hub - as reported by www.techradar.com

When you think of tech hubs, cities such as San Francisco, London, Tel Aviv and Beijing come to mind but what about Dublin? Ireland has been doing a great deal recently to attract the top companies and the best talent with the aim of becoming a tech hub itself. Add the UK’s decision to leave the EU to the mix and you have some of the biggest companies from around the world considering moving their headquarters from the UK to Ireland to avoid getting caught up in Brexit.
