Applications are now being accepted for our Diploma in Legal Studies and Advanced Diploma in Legal Studies due to commence on Tuesday 4th March. Delivered by qualified lawers and incorporating insightful guest speakers, these courses will provide in-depth and current legal knowledge relevant to today's corporate sector.


Dublin Business School has a proud tradition of delivering excellence in education in the Legal field, and our Professional Legal Diplomas have been designed to deliver a specialist knowledge in specific legal fields, as required by our students with limited or no legal background.


For those seeking a broad understanding of current Irish Law, our Diploma in Legal Studies and Advanced Diploma in Legal Studies will provide an introduction to the core aspects of Irish law and the legal system, as recognised by the legal profession.

Career Opportunities: Diploma in Legal Studies/Advanced Diploma in Legal Studies

Students who have completed this programme have continued on to study the Bacholer of Laws (LL.B) programmes on a part time basis to prepare for entrance examinations for the Law Society.

Typically participants on this programme are employees of legal firms who want to obtain a legal qualification in order to advance their employment opportunities. Other class participants are members of the Gardaí seeking career advancement. Some participants are employed with legal aid boards or involved in citizens advice organisations. Other students are simply interested in using the course to add to their CV and show an understanding of the Irish legal system with a qualification to support it.
