DBS is running another intake of two professional, skills-based courses exploring the techniques of criminology and crime scene investigation this Autumn 2012.
Diploma in Crime Scene Investigation
- 10 week course taking place one evening per week on Mondays from 6.15pm to 8.30pm
- The course introduces participants to the theory surrounding criminal investigative procedures with a particular focus on forensic science and criminal profiling
- The programme is designed for those who wish to gain foundation knowledge in and an appreciation of crime scene investigation.
Diploma in Crimonology
- 10 week course taking place one evening per week on Thursdays from 6.15pm to 8.30pm
- This programme introduces students to the study of all aspects of crime in our society from basic theories in criminology through to in-depth analysis of the main causes of crime and the profiles of criminals
- The course also incorporates an examination of the Criminal Justice System both in a domestic and international context.
