What's happening in Dublin?


Popular messaging platform, Slack, has set up a European HQ in Dublin, which will create 100 new jobs in the city over the next couple of years.  Most positions will be in customer support and account management positions, and San Francisco based Slack's investment in Ireland sees yet another major major tech company set up a base in Ireland. Slack has more than 750,000 daily active users which at just over a year old, makes it the fastest growing business app ever.

Business opportunities are opening up, and you can get the skills required with at DBS. We are now accepting applications for our range of Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes, commencing in September 2015.

Studying Business and Management at DBS will give you a wide range of valuable learnings and skills for one of today’s most demanding, yet rewarding, career paths and working environments. The full-time MBA programmes allow you to acquire both general and specialised knowledge and skills in a number of key business and management areas.

 

Programmes available for application include:

Applications are open to graduates of a Level 8 honours degree (or equivalent) in business or non-business disciplines. A detailed CV and proof of English (where applicable) will also be examined during the application process. Applicants required to submit evidence of English must submit an IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent) for direct admission.

Students who hold an IELTS score of 6.0 can take part in the DBS Pre-Masters English course in July in advance of the September MBA intake. The overall fee for both courses is €11,890 however students who successully complete the English course will receive a €2,000 discount to the overall fee.
